Lynxter has unveiled a new add-on called OVERTIME for its silicone 3D printers, aimed at improving productivity and expanding print capabilities. This innovation will be showcased at the upcoming Formnext event, allowing users to achieve larger and more complex prints without sacrificing material quality.
New Add-On Enhances Printing Capabilities
Lynxter has launched an innovative add-on, OVERTIME, designed to enhance the productivity of its silicone 3D printers, specifically the S300X – LIQ21 | LIQ11 systems. This new feature allows for larger, more intricate parts to be printed in greater quantities, addressing the limitations typically associated with silicone additive manufacturing.
Key Features of OVERTIME
OVERTIME enables users to utilize the full build volume of the machine in a single print, which helps overcome the material curing time constraints usually encountered in silicone printing. The add-on reportedly increases printing autonomy by up to 36 times without compromising the quality of the materials used. This makes it possible to create larger components and thin-walled geometries with improved resolution.
Compatibility and Specifications
Compatible with a variety of silicone materials, including SIL-001, SIL-002, SIL-004, and the COPSIL series (COPSIL-0550, COPSIL-1050, COPSIL-2550, COPSIL-4050), OVERTIME supports nozzle diameters ranging from 0.40 mm to 1.00 mm. It’s important to note that for some earlier models of the S300X, modifications to the print head may be necessary.
