Bambu Lab Introduces H3C 3D Printer with Advanced Features

Bambu Lab has launched the H3C, its first third-generation desktop 3D printer, priced at $2,499. This innovative printer features a nine-tool changer, allowing for rapid material switching and enhanced flexibility in printing applications.

Launch of the H3C 3D Printer

Chinese manufacturer Bambu Lab has unveiled the H3C, which is touted as the world's first nine-tool desktop 3D printer. Priced at $2,499 in the U.S. and €2,499 in Europe, this printer will be available starting November 3 through the Bambu Lab Official Store.

Key Features

The H3C is built around Bambu Lab's Swaptek system, which allows the printer to switch between tools in under six seconds. Each of the nine tools is pre-loaded with filament and kept heated, eliminating the need for lengthy filament changes during printing. This design addresses challenges faced by earlier models in multi-color printing, simplifying the overall process for users.

Additionally, the H3C includes a FlexFeed extruder that accommodates both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filaments, enhancing its capability to print with flexible materials like TPU. The integrated AMS 3H chamber protects filament from moisture and can connect to other units for expanded material use.

Enhanced Performance

The H3C features a lightweight motion platform that allows for impressive acceleration and speed, reaching up to 1,400 mm/s without compromising print quality. With a build chamber heating up to 65°C and the ability to handle temperatures of 350°C for the tools, the printer is compatible with a wide range of materials, including ABS, PC, and carbon-fiber blends.

Optional Accessories

Bambu Lab offers optional accessories such as a Bird-eye camera for remote monitoring, a Bambu Station stand for storage, and an E1 Air Purifier that activates during printing to capture harmful particles and VOCs. These additions aim to enhance user experience and maintain a safe printing environment.
